The Sir Care-A-Lot teddy bear is a warm, safe and loving friend to a child who has been abused, neglected or traumatized in some way. The teddy bear serves as a calming tool for a child to hold onto in a time of crisis. Sir Care-A-Lot is also an effective icebreaker to help a child trust and open up to the person who is serving as the immediate caregiver.
Many Exchange Clubs and Exchange Club Child Abuse Prevention Centers throughout the United States distribute the Sir Care-A-Lot teddy bears to local police departments and emergency rescue squads to help officers and firefighters communicate with children who have been involved in a tragic situation.
The huggable teddy bear is 11½" tall, and meets all U.S. governmental safety standards. It is individually packaged to assure cleanliness. An authenticity/identification tag hangs from the bear's ear, telling the story of his history. The bears can purchased for $7 each by calling the National Exchange Club Supply Department at 800.924.2643.
